About Wedding Celebrant Norma

Hello, I’m Norma, a friendly and passionate Scottish wedding celebrant dedicated to creating heartfelt, bespoke wedding ceremonies for couples who desire a truly personal and unforgettable wedding day. 

After a rewarding 35-year career in nursing, where I supported people through some of life’s most important moments, I followed my love of working with people and became an authorised celebrant with Celebrants Scotland. I now have the privilege of helping couples celebrate one of the happiest and most meaningful days of their lives through personalized wedding services.

I believe your ceremony should be every bit as special and unique as your relationship. Whether you’re planning a grand traditional wedding, a relaxed family gathering, a beach ceremony, or something wonderfully unconventional in the Scottish hills, I will work closely with you to create a ceremony that reflects your personalities, values, and love story. I take the time to truly get to know each couple so your ceremony feels genuine, meaningful, and completely tailored to you.

When I’m not writing ceremonies, you’ll usually find me reading, singing, running, at a keep-fit class, making pottery, or spending time with my family, including my husband of 32 years and my much-loved black cockapoo, Frida.
